Incredibly powerful, a 100-foot-mural by Graffiti Artists for a Positive Cause and some very aspiring kids relocated from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Rwanda. Art in Common, Inc. hosted this event on a cold blustery day at Jim Felice’s Trailer Box Gallery in Danbury, CT. on Dec. 3rd, 2016.
The result? An opportunity to give a voice and teach some wicked graffiti techniques.
The mural is an powerful example of what is possible when a group combine’s creativity, expression, welcoming and truly “seeing” one another. Thank you to Alex Wattles for bringing the propane heater and amazing sound system!

Help kids find a voice.
